Italy names squad for Nigeria


Italy's coach Cesare Prandelli has named a 28-man squad of high profile players ahead of their friendly game against Germany, and eventually Nigeria on November 18.

The 'Azzurri' will host Germany in Milan on Friday, after which they will head to London where they will face Nigeria's Super Eagles at Fulham FC's Craven Cottage Stadium.

Amongst the invited players are the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Angelo Ogbonna, Andrea Pirlo and Mario Balotelli.

Defenders : Ignazio Abate (AC Milan), Federico Balzaretti (AS Roma), Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Christian Maggio (Napoli), Angelo Ogbonna (Juventus), Manuel Pasqual (Fiorentina), Andrea Ranocchia (Inter), Domenico Criscito (Zenit St Petersbourg/RUS).
